Since the beginning of the restaurant industry, okay maybe since the surge in social media, everyone has been looking for that great place they get to tell their friends about. It’s got the best cocktails, the greatest appetizers, the most delicious meals. But what is going to really get you to fall in love? It’s got the BEST view.
The view is what takes a good restaurant and makes it a great restaurant.
There are a few ways you can interpret “the best view.” If you’re in a large metropolitan area that’s more inland, being located at the top of a hill where you can look down and see the whole city is the best. If you’re in the mountains, something indoors and cozy, next to a roaring fire where you can look out and watch the snow fall, well, that’s quality worth paying for. But what if you’re in a beautiful coastal city where it’s warm most of the year? That’s where we come in.
Any table at the Lighthouse offers you a gorgeous view of the water, with beautiful boats either docked or sailing across the marina. It’s one thing to enjoy a dirty martini on the restaurant’s patio; but it’s quite another experience if you can sip that dirty martini on the restaurant’s patio and feel the ocean breeze and watch sailboats drift by. Other restaurants might have outdoor seating, but they don’t have the view that we provide.
You might be asking yourself: is the view really that good? The short answer: yes, it is. The long answer: the view is even better than that. It’s pretty spectacular when you walk through the open hallway from the parking lot to the front doors of our restaurant. The first time you see it, we swear it’ll take your breath away. The hallway truly transports you from the city to the water and takes you out of the everyday mundane. You’ll feel the weight of the world lift off your shoulders and you’ll be able to enjoy the view, complete with an amazing culinary experience.
Because it’s not enough to have a beautiful view, of course. We must consistently deliver amazing meals and delicious libations to our guests, all with a smile on our face. At the Lighthouse, we make it our goal to treat each guest like a special member of our family. We want you to feel like a VIP or celebrity but also laugh and share stories with us like we’ve known each other forever. If you feel comfortable enough to let your hair down and enjoy your time with us, we’ve done our job.
